I have worked in the New Zealand Tourism Industry for over 25 years either operating tours or marketing accommodation through out the country. I am hugely passionate about travel in New Zealand and believe in providing tour packages that provide great value for money while ticking off iconic locations.
My favourite part of New Zealand is the West Coast of the South Island. Being an avid photographer the opportunities to capture stunning landscapes in this region is unsurpassed. I have travelled along the coastal road on the West Coast every year more than 25 years and never get tired of the spectacular coastal scenery.
Coming from Germany more than 20 years ago New Zealand is my home and I never regretted my move. I started my tourism carrier in my fathers coach company and worked for several outbound and inbound companies. My favourite place in New Zealand is Tata Beach – a small coastal settlement with unspoiled beaches and the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park in the back yard.
I moved to Christchurch a year before the earthquakes hit the city. It was a challenging time to create a new life for my young family and something none of us were prepared for. However it bought us together strongly and through the years that followed we grew a very tight bond with the local community and city developing great friendships.
I am very passionate about Christchurch and love getting out into the port hills weekly on my mountain bike. When time allows I enjoy heading out further afield into the remote hill and mountain country of the South Island. It is such a beautiful place to live and it didn’t take long before I was drawn to the tourism industry.
I am originally from Germany and have enjoyed developing New Zealand touring programme for visitors from there and across Europe.
I have worked in the travel industry most of my life. After a period of time working for a Christchurch based Travel Agent - I moved to operate coach tours throughout New Zealand.
My favourite part of New Zealand is the Mackenzie Country where I spend many weekends through the year. Give me a boat and I will row it.
With a varied career including international work on cruise ships, driving a jet boat in Queenstown and running my own Brewery Tours, I recently joined the team to work closely with our coach partner Leopard Coachlines and liaise with our drivers and guides. They are a great team and frontline super stars.
I grew up in Timaru and always enjoy returning to this historic and scenic town a couple of hours drive south of Christchurch.
