Booking Terms & Conditions:
Pricing is subject to availability and confirmation of the stated itinerary at time of booking. If we are unable to confirm the stated hotels and services, we will endeavour to confirm substitutes at similar rates, however additional costs may apply. All prices are valid subject to Government, hotel, fuel surcharges and currency fluctuations.
We do require a non-refundable deposit of $200 (for Chatham Islands $900) per person per tour before we go ahead with securing any reservation. We will hold your reservation for 5 days only without deposit. In addition, some of our suppliers may require further deposits to cover their strict cancellation policies, in this case we would advise you at the time of quoting and confirmation your itinerary. By paying the requested deposit you accept our bookings terms and conditions. Balance of payment for your tour would be required 45 days prior to departure or at time of booking. If you book inside 45 days, full payment would be required at time of booking, we reserve the right to re-sell seats without warning if applicants fail to finalise payment within the prescribed time. Payment can be made by bank transfer and should include any bank fees associated. We also accept VISA and MASTERCARD at an additional fee of 3.1%.
Once Confirmed Non-refundable Deposit of NZD $200.00 (for Chatham Islands $900.00) per person
Inside 45 – 21 Days A Cancellation fee of 30% of your total booking value will apply, along with any cancellation fees applied by our accommodation, sightseeing and other providers.
Inside 20 – 8 days A Cancellation fee of 50% of your total booking value will apply, along with any cancellation fees applied by our accommodation, sightseeing and other providers.
Inside 7 Days Full Cancellations, 100% charge
Where you are unable to join the beginning of your tour as a result of the implementation by the New Zealand Government of travel restrictions due to Covid 19, you will be provided with a full refund for the land content of your tour.
This does not apply to any flight portion that may be included in your travel package. Where flights are included these will be held in credit for future travel.
By offering this refund facility we sincerely hope this gives you confidence to book your New Zealand travel with us, and that if Covid circumstances did impact your travel, then you would consider rebooking with us at a later date when travel restrictions are lifted.
If travel restrictions are applied whilst your tour is travelling we will endeavour to recover whatever unused portion of the tour that we can and return that to you.
For Chatham Island bookings an additional $150 payment per person will allow for full refund of the air portion of the package in the event that there are government imposed travel restrictions relating to Covid 19 and clients are unable to travel.
We are happy to amend your itinerary and dates, however please keep in mind that a fee of $50 per person will be charged for any change made to a reservation after the booking has been confirmed. A change of tour or within 45 days of tour departure will be treated as a cancellation and normal cancellation fees will apply.
Comprehensive Travel Insurance is not included; we strongly recommend to take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances (i.e. loss of luggage, cancellation etc).
One suitcase of maximal 20 kg per person plus one piece of hand luggage which may be carried on-board the coach. Please note that luggage with an adjustable handle and wheels will not fit in the overhead compartments and cannot be accepted as hand luggage. Luggage insurance is strongly recommended.
Children’s fares are available and will be quoted on request basis. Children under the age of 5 are not suitable of our tours.
Optional tours are to be booked with our coach captain. Payment will be made directly with the local tour operator.
We accept no responsibility for the retrieval of lost or misplaced property. All costs associated in the retrieval of lost or misplaced property is at the owner’s expense.
Except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions we regret that we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by reason of circumstances amounting to ‘force majeure’. In these booking conditions, ‘force majeure’ means any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control.
